St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking a part-time Physician to join the team that covers our Long Term Care facilities. Our team provides compassionate care to 7 Nursing Home facilities in the capital district. This opportunity would be providing care primarily for residents of Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY.

Eddy Village Green has 16 ranch-style houses each accommodating 12 residents for a total of 192 beds. Both facilities have interdisciplinary teams to work with the providers and patients on providing the highest level of care for the residents.

• Average of 12-14 resident visits per shift (consisting of routine visits and sick visits)
• On call 1 in every 6-8 weeks (Week long call, phone calls only)
• Abundance of support services in the facility including providers for Pulmonary, Physiatry,Psych, WOCN, Podiatry and more.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• NYS Physician License and DEA
• Experience with geriatric population
• Certification in geriatrics a plus, but not required.
• Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:

• Compensation range is $120,000 - $130,000 for .5 FTE annually
