St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates seeks to recruit a full-time Advanced Practitioner to join the Ellis Hospital Neuroscience inpatient team. New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Individuals with interest or experience in Neuroscience a plus!

About the Program:

Ellis Neurology offers comprehensive care for neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, back pain, brain tumors, dementia and movement disorders, delivered through our inpatient and outpatient programs. Ellis is a New York State designated Primary Stroke Center and is nationally recognized for outstanding stroke care. For five consecutive years, Ellis has received the Gold/Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association for the quick response and high quality of care provided to stroke patients.

Position Details:

  • Admitting patients that require neurology or neurosurgery admission;
  • The APP is also responsible, under the supervision of the attending physician, for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment throughout the patient’s hospital course;
  • Diagnostic procedures include but are not limited to lumbar puncture and lumbar drain insertion;
  • The APP has inpatient responsibilities and no outpatient or clinic patients;
  • Monday-Friday position

Requirements:

Applicants should have the following:

  • NYS licensure
  • DEA required
  • Board Certification

 Recruitment Package: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

  • Competitive salary including starting bonus;
  • Compensation is between $123,238 and $133,097;
  • The posted salary reflects the starting rand of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
