Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, a member of St. Peter’s Health Partners, is recruiting for a General Physiatrist interested in joining a dynamic and growing practice. The physiatrist will join a team of PM&R consultants in providing consults at a Level 1 trauma center, while also having time to develop a flexible outpatient practice and interface with patients admitted to an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our current department has eight physiatrists, all of whom are invested in excellent patient care and in providing PM&R services to the community.
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Upstate NY, is a CARF-accredited 115-bed not-for-profit freestanding acute rehabilitation hospital with specialty areas in brain injury, stroke, amputee, spinal cord, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehabilitation. Sunnyview provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to the region, was recognized as a U.S. News Best Rehabilitation Hospital the last two years, and has a tradition of excellence in patient care for over 90 years. It serves as the inpatient training site for the local PM&R residency and offers innovative technology including ReWalk, Ekso, RT300, Xcite, and BURT.

- Board Certified/Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- NYS license and DEA required.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE: St. Peter’s Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Base Compensation is between $250,000 and $270,000 with the ability to earn an additional $50,000 in quality incentives
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
